Default Drove a 06 stick today

Sorry if this should be posted somewhere else. I found what i thought was a 06 manual of my car. Turned out that they no longer make SONIC BLUE MET. its darker and has no purple look to it(Vista Blue Met). Anyways it was a little nicer than my 05 auto. You could spin tires a little in second and chirp in 3rd. I was going to trade but thought my Sonic Blue looks a lot better. I know most of you gays and gals do alot of modding. But if you were looking from a collector point, would I be better only doing bolt ons that can be removed. So I keep the value of my car. I know most people want a GT. But my color is the only one discontinued. The SalesManager told me that that was the best blue color ford has make in his opion. I went to auto trader .com and there are 1 out of 50 or 60 on there. OH YEAH THIS MONTHS ISSUE OF 5.0 SAYS THERE ARE 70% more GT'S MADE IN 05 PRODUCTION. DO YOU THINK THIS WILL MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE IN VALUE IF IT IS STOCK SAY 10 YRS DONE THE ROAD? Thanks for any opions.
