i would also recommend anyone in the houston, humble area to slaters. i had gears, shifter, o/r h pipe, under drive pullies and axlebacks all installed there on my 05 gt and they did a great job and was pretty good price on the install too.

If someone says they have 300 RWHP from a dyno do you ask STD or SAE?
When you compare it to someones else yes you have to ask if want to see a fair comparison.

Dr. Scrming dyno reader a question., This dyno is pretty decent HP & TQ since all did was a drop in K&N with out a tune I believe and a stock single exhuast even considering STD. I have been looking at all the dynos lately and we had 2-3 more to look at tonight. I am pretty well convinced now you lose low end TQ when you alter the single exhaust to some version of dual exhuast even with headers and you do not make it up on the high end.

Scrming would you agree with this?

By the way your sig looks Great!!

Hope you don't mind Truxtun just a quick question for Scrming

Yes, but only sticks so far. Excepcion13, Zodiac and a few others. I think they are hitting 205 to 208 RWHP SAE. Very good numbers.

Chrisc yes guys have broken 200HP but it's has been with cars with a stick. The auto seems to dyno lower because of the TQ converter.

LOL. Yep, chimed right in at the same time. Now given this, I am on a quest, for a new TC. Anyone see any out for our 6's.

Rygn you will love that, off the top of my head I believe company called HoleShot makes them and if I remember correctly you can take yours in to some companys and they can set yours up.

Edit just checked Rygn its called B&M HoleShot but you will have to check to see if they make one for your car.

Not a problem I posted so everyone could post about the numbers, and respond between each other... I ran the dyno, 'cause I had not run one on the Mustang, as I just got it (Program car is why the 17k miles). I wanted to see where it was real life, and $60 for a couple runs was worth the 'fun' factor and chatting with the guys at Slaters anyway

I'm at 189.8 on a Mustang Dyno. A Mustang Dyno is generally thought to show 10-15% less than a Dynojet. I think I'm about in that range.
