Don't do it. I'd like to trade places with you. You can have my spoiler if I could have no holes to fill in my trunk lid. I want to put on one of CDC's ducktails and the holes have to be filled first. Just kidding, but you might want to give it some thought.

Go get a shop to do it because you're seriously risking screwing up your rear end, so just let a professional handle this one.

I agree with Cayuse, you may not want to even put on a spoiler at this time if you are considereding getting a ducktail down the road. If you do want to use the factory spoiler then let your dealership be the ones to put it on or a good shop. If you look around you may can find someone that really does want to swap out decklids with you. They will take yours since it has no holes in it and you can get theirs with the factory spoiler already attached.

yea so i installed the spoiler today... very easy... had no problems...... no reason to pay a body shop or dealership very very very very simple install... changing your tires is more taxing

just my two cents

Glad to hear it went so well! Always fun to work on our rides.

Yes, about time for you to post PICS!!!

I spent most of the day detailing our old '95 Windstar--gonna sell it. Man, what a bunch of dirt and grime I'd rather have spent the time on the 'stang!!
