cool. whats the diffrence?
between the t-lok and the Auburn? The Auburn is stronger... it falls between the t-lok and Detroit TrueTrac in strength.

hmm... the capacity for an object to withstand great force or pressure.

I've heard the spider gears in the t-lok are a weak point... though... the t-lok is proving to withstand a great deal and should hold up just dandy. Scrming is a great example... many hard launches at the track with his zex setup and t-lok.

I made smaller files at the top of the thread for those of you with slower connections... these are the same clips but the sound quality isn't quite as good and they are much, much smaller.

Don't forget Ham, strength is just one issue. How well it locks up is the other. The Auburn locks up so well. The Tlok can be made "tighter" by adding an extra clutch disc. It is one of my old four wheel drive tricks. Four wheeling is where I first got aquainted with the Detroit, the Tlok, and the Auburn and their inherent capabilities.

Mash... I haven't experienced a t-lok up close and personal... but, the Auburn does indeed lock up so nicely!

did some one say 4 wheeling... stumbled across this today.. this is my first 4.0L... and it's from a video tape... so it has to be on topic!
