what a shame... but leave it up to the ricers! BMW emblems on a dodge neon, Nissan engines in Classic Mustangs... they'll try anything!

while the skyline engine is a nice engine and has its pros for putting massive amount of horsepower on the internals without much fortification...i don't see the point of putting one into a mustang...i do not know the exact weight dimensions of that mustang but im sure the weight of the mustang does not serve the purpose of putting such an engine in that car...but then again with a chance to put out massive hp gains i guess the person doing it decided to do that instead of putting 302 anyways whichever engine it is a waste of an engine and a car that is my .02

edit: after doing a little bit more research the mustang might weigh less than the skyline which makes it logical to put that engine in there...however if you gonna spend money on a rb26dett engine then why not just put the 302 in there instead and keep it american muscle
