Default Gt takeoff questions

I have 2 gt takeoff mufflers, and the midpipes from a 2005 GT. I am about to purchase an h-pipe from a 2005 GT, and I am wondering whether the h-pipe will simply fit in place of the y-pipe on my 2006 V6. Do I have to drill a hole for the O2 sensor on the h-pipe? Is this complicated? Has anyone installed an h-pipe on a V6 themselves? Will somebody please walk me through this process? I really need help, and any help will be appreciated.

Default RE: Gt takeoff questions

You might do a search limited to the V6 forums, I have read threads by people who have used a GT h-pipe for the conversion. Others have used after market x-pipes too.

I would suggest you go ahead and have a muffler shop do the work though unless you have access to a lift and air tools. It won't cost much and if you should happen to twist off a manifold stud or something it will ruin your day
