Default Will this h-pipe work?

Im going to duel exhaust on my 2006 V6 stang. What brackets will this h-pipe require to mount in place of my stock y-pipe? Also, will I need to drill a hole and place my 02 sensor in the h-pipe?

You won't need to drill any holes - the sensors are in the down-pipes before the cats.

Take it to a muffler shop like Minake. Thell cut off the y-pipe and weld the h-pipe on and then make the rest of the pipeing custom. They also need to make a hanger for the passanger side muffler and cut the bumper for clearence.

Black06stang,
What they will do for your setup is cut off the y-pipe after the cats and weld in that h-pipe. The O2 sensors are in the pipe above the cat and the cat itself, so they will not be touched in your install. They will probably weld in a support brace somewhere between the H-pipe and the over-the-axle pipe. They will need two over-the-axle pipes however to go between the muffler and the H-pipe. They may be able to reuse your passenger side over-the-axle pipe. You will also need muffler hangers for the drivers side muffler.

Yeah, it's a total ripoff. You can fab your own with a rubber muffler hanger bracket from Auto Zone and a piece of angle iron. Thats what I'm going to do.

Man,
My parts are really starting to mount up here. Have a full GT exhaust system just sitting here, as well as black shelby style stripes. New wheels/tires get here next week. I wish the weather would cooperate!!!
