yet another post about SCT2 TUNER. ... ok.. i got an intake from tunable induction and the tuner from mustangtuning.com ... well i went to install the tuner and man it's giving me hell!!! i downloaded a 93 octane that john demolet emailed me and it's not uploading to my stang?!?!?! i went to program the custom tune and the tuner said " downloading ECM 100%" "program complete" did not even upload? i did everything the instructions said to do ... i don't know what to do ... ??? any help guys??? ohh yea... one more thing... is it ok to run my stang with the engine light on due to my tuner crapping out on me???

The "downloading ECM 100%" most like refers to the X-Cal2 downloading the car's stock tune to the X-Cal2 itself... It does this the first time you use the X-Cal2... That way you can return your car to stock when needed... Your X-Cal2 is now locked to your car... I would try flashing your car again...

Try disconnecting the battery and then try loading the tune again.

ok.. well i just got back from outside and i took JIMP'S advice... well.. nothing.. hehehe... car still won't start =( i was wondering though.. is it bad to run the CAI without the tune?? will it mess anything up??? thanks for the help guys

With a Tunable Induction intake, your car will probably barely run (if at all) with the stock tune.
