supercharger or blower?
I believe a blower is the same thing as a supercharger. They have a couple superchargers out right now for the V6 and only one turbo that comes out in March. The turbo performs better but costs nearly $5,000.
when im talking about a blower, i mean the thing that you would always see sticking out of the hoods of old school muscle cars....i.e. vin deisles 69 charger at the end of the fast and the furious. I knew that it was basicaly the supercharger of those days but i thought that todays actual supercharger was more sophisticated.
They are the same thing. A blower is just another term for supercharger. The big block superchargers of the old muscle cars are essentially the same thing as the Vortech, Eaton, Whipple, and Kenne Bell units you see under the hoods of cars today.

A supercharger (also known as a blower, or a centrifugal pump) is a gas compressor used to compress air into the cylinders of an internal combustion engine. The additional mass of oxygen that is forced into the cylinders allows the engine to burn more fuel, which improves the volumetric efficiency of the engine and makes it more powerful. A supercharger is powered mechanically by belt- or chain-drive from the engine's crankshaft. It is similar in purpose to the closely related turbocharger, but a turbocharger is powered by the flow of the engine's exhaust gases driving a turbine. Superchargers may absorb as much as a third of the total crankshaft power of the engine, and in many applications are less efficient than turbochargers. In applications where a massive amount of power is more important than any other consideration, such as top-fuel dragsters and vehicles used in tractor pulling competitions, superchargers are extremely common
if you meant "supercharger or turbocharger" i would go with the turbo, basically because it is more practical if you still want to drive the car on the streets
i say this because a couple of my friends have f/i-ed cars, and do not enjoy huge levels of boost on their trips to safeway and back, and with a turbo, they are given the option to have an electronical boost control which can "tone down" their cars
