Those 4.0 fender emblems look great! I ordered mine a few days ago -- yours is the first car I've seen with them on the fenders! How did you decide where to place them? Do you have any close-up shots or measurements? Mine should be arriving early this week!

Basically the measurements were taken from the right corners of each 4.0 emblem.. so basically on the drivers side... 9 inches in from the wheel well.. and 6 inches down from the seam on the fender .... so you basically form a corner for the 4.0 emblem and i bought a small level from home depot for 99 cents and put them on that way with a painters tape as a guide once i made my measurements and a tape measure...

i think the 4.0 emblems look great! Do the pony emblems come off easily with a heat gun if it's just held on by adhesive?

Not to offend anyone, but I have had the 4.0 emblems from autobadges.com and v6mustangstuff.com. I had the autobadges.com ones first due to price, they are about 2mm thin and IMO, when you are up close don't look good. I'm pretty **** so standing around the car you don't notice the quality. But, the autobadges look better if you are going for the clean silver look. The 5.0 style ones from v6mustangstuff are a chrome finish vs the machine finish on the autobadges. So matching it up with your car, wheels, etc. is important. The ones from v6mustangstuff are very close replicas to the old 5.0 emblems. Have the red dot in the middle, these emblems have a higher gloss finish as autobadges and are about 3 times thicker. IMO they are much higher quality.

However, both look great and show our V6 pride.

Mine was 2mm off on placement in this photo, I took the wife's hair dryer and fixed it in a few minutes. So ignore the placement.
