No one is making a roll bar for the 05/06 vert mustang that I know of. I'm interested in one as well. CDC makes their lightbar, but it's cosmetic not functional. Too bad, it looks great. I've even wondered if you could fill the CDC tube with expoxy resin to strengthen it. Who know's if it would work though. If you find one let me know.

The CDC core tube is already a fairly strong steel tube. I don't think pouring it full of epoxy would strenthen it greatly, and would probably damage (melt) the cosmetic foam covering of the bar, as that much epoxy is going to get HOT as it cures.

Good thought. I hadn't considered the set-up heat with the expoxy. I'm going to put the CDC light bar anyways because it looks so good. If I roll the car I figure I'm screwed anyway.

I installed the CDC bar in my 'vert myself. I tend to think it would be some aid in a rollover as-is. I'd rather have it than not in such a situation.
And you're right, it looks really good
When you get around to doing yours, I whole heartedly recommend getting the light bar switch from WebElectric. It's a simple install, and it's nice having the bar with enough built-in smarts to shut the high mounted brake light off when the top is raised.
