I have a C&L with Diablo tuner and I think it's awsome! I have had no problems.

Are the gains substantial enough to warrant the extra $260? A dynosheet I looked at couple hours ago (think it was brenspeed) showed a 4HP/4TQ increase after throwing in the C&L. I have a similar set up as the one described, but no H-pipe. I guess it comes down to if I want to spend $65 per HP/TQ.

Thanks, John.

It is absolutely worth the $260! One thing I found about the C&L is the dyno doesn't tell the whole story! The improvement I felt on the street definitely makes the C&L a great mod! Coupled with Lidio's tune... You'll be amazed.... LOL

keep us posted!

I'm almost sold! Just have to wait for my paycheck.

I'd like to support Lidio; I like what you [Scrming] two have done to your stang! And it doesn't seem like Lidio gets enough work or props around here. Then again, I probably haven't been around here long enough to come to that conclusion.

thanks for the info, I emailed Doug and got some valuable info that I needed, he said he includes 3 dif. tunes with the xcal and he has the c&l cai, price that scrmin mentioned is about where Doug is, I replied back to him for more info about having which mods first, Here are my plans and what I have now

'05 Satin Silver, automatic, Exterior Sport PKG Upgrade
Black Leather interior, Shaker 500

Heres the plan:
4.0 fender emblems
quickielift hood lifts
c&l cai
4.10 gears with t-loc
x-cal tune
new exhaust (still undecided what type- going to muf. shop tom)
new UDP and alternator pulleys (maybe)
new rear control arms (car was a little squirrely up HWY 1 north of SF)

any additional suggestions, I'm listening? any thoughts how much it should cost to have gears and t-loc installed?

Nice! Sounds like a good plan! I gotta tell ya... after Doug's X-cal 2 tunes and the C&L intake it wasn't long before I had to get a limited slip differential. Those one wheeled burnouts get old very quickly! And, that's even on the 87 octane performance tune! The 92 octane tunes are amazing!

Doug asked what octanes we have in my area, only 87,89,91 that I've seen since checking, any downside to only gettin a 91 tune?

Doug provides 3 tunes...
87 octane performance
91 octane performance
91 octane torque

(or 92 or 93 octane, depending on what's in your area)
