Default SO, what's the bottom line on exhaust?

My hubby keeps telling me that changing the exhaust at all will void my warranty. But I really want my stang to sound good. So, what's the best way to do it and how much do you think it will cost? I've never been much into car mods, but I love this car and I want it to be hot. Any advice?

Modding the exhaust won't void the warrenty, it says you can change Intake, headers, and exhaust with no problem. Look under Page 8 in your Warranty Guide, under "Damaged Caused by Alteration or Modification" It says "Tampering with the vehicle, tampering with the emissions systems or with the other parts that affect these systems" ( for example, BUT NOT LIMITED TO EXHAUST AND INTAKE SYSTEMS )

A good exhaust and itake won't void the warrenty.

Fire that pony up. Your husband is just jealous because you have the hottest car on the planet. If you think we would all be doing these mods to void our warranty Your RIGHT just kidding LOL and keep on Modding.

Thanks y'all. I told him he was nuts. He's usually into Camaro's, but since I got my Stang he's taken notice and now he talks about wanting one. Copycat!

Any suggestions on the most cost effective bang for the buck?

For a nice single muffler, I would go with the MRT single axle back... sound incredible and the performance gain is amazing... I've got a write up on it including pics, dyno sheets and vids...
