I live in Burbage Grant. I'll be at the MWR auto hobby shop changing oil in my wifes car and mine this Saturday.
This is the only time I drive her "girly" car.

Sweet. So let's get this thing rolling. Would everyone like to do this meet/greet soon or later in the year? Personally I don't have a preference but if we wait it might give more people a chance to see this thread, clear their schedule, etc. Essayons has offered to do a cookout at his house and, depending on the size of the group, that could be an option. If anyone has some input let's hear it. I'm open to all ideas. As far as a date, May 12th and the weekend before and after July 4th are not an option for me.

I say we don't wait a ton longer..seems to be some traction with this you kow how time can damage that. We could do something local sooner than later though..I would be willing to do it at my house. Us "hampton roaders" are all close so no reason not to do it..but still up for a trip to northern virginia as well..this is pretty damn cool.

Just checked the oils and no changing required. Now I can install my shaker 1000.
Lets get a date.

Its a garage with lifts to perform maintenance on cars complete with tools.
Located on Coast Guard base in Portsmouth.

It's an auto shop on one of the bases. I know there is one at Norfolk Naval Base and there is one at NNSY. It gives you access to lifts, air tools, etc. for pretty cheap. I had a roommate that was in the Navy and that's where we did all the work to his truck. It was actually really nice. If I remember correctly we could rent a bay for 8 hours for something like $20 and then use the air tools and stuff. I can't remember if we had to pay to use the tools.

^ Blueper beat me to it...

No problem. Hopefully we can plan this with at least that much notice.

May is a good time, not too far off and gives time for those who need notice. Weather should be great too. May 12 is no good for jrock but that leaves 3 other weekends. Need to get something on a calendar to make this work.
