Modding time this weekend
Got 2 pairs of heated pads for my Stang on the way. Will be installing them this weekend. Not bad on the price and I'll be taking pics of the install.
Sad to say with windows 8, I cannot edit pictures.
Install was fairly easy as with most new mods, it takes time for the first one, 2nd unit took 1/4 of the time
Both seats and wiring took about 4-5 hours.
Taking the plastic side off the drivers seat was the most time consuming as I have 6 way seat with lumbar bag.
Cannot tell they are in the seat, pads are nice and thin. Currently wired into cigarette lighter but, will rewire into a switched 12V output. (left driver seat on high overnight) no jump needed.
They warm up in less than 5 minutes and I highly recommend this mod. Not sure if install is same on cloth seats, leather was easier than I thought.
