Its not just a Mustang meet, but Cars and Coffee in Irvine is always a hit. Its on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM - corner of Irvine Center Drive and Alton - in the Mazda building parking lot. Roughly 400 cars each week (not sure now that its colder out). Everything under the sun (including exotic cars).
They open the cafe in the Ford building, and they come out and sell coffee, doughnuts, bagles, etc.

Check it out some time. If ya go - look for a grey haird guy with a blue Ford Racing jacket on (that would be me) - and say hi.

BTW - One of the Mustang clubs I belong to is having a membership drive also - www.SaddlebackMustang.com - they have monthly meetings and monthly cruises.
