all i can say is wow..... there wasnt nearly as many people as i thought there would be.. I got there at 4 and as soon as i checked in i started racing...... I got 5 runs in, back to back...... then got 3 more runs through out the rest of the night. To bad there wasnt more forum members there, you guys would have had a blast... i know i did. I also met jeff (graygt07) very cool guy, sweet mustang... nice meeting you man, sorry we didnt chat more, the lines just kept going and going lol.... So what was the best time you ran?? I got 8 runs in and my best was a 13.4 @ 111 ... i couldnt get a decent launch no matter what i tried... i tried at 2.5k all the way to 4k..... i either had huge bogs or flat out spin =( guess ill have to just keep practicing.... its way different at the track compared to the street. My last run I ran a whooping 17.7 LOL it My best launch at 2.1 60" but when i went to Powershift into 2nd i missed..... first time i have missed 2nd gear in any car.... damn it lol. oh well, so i just ran the rest of the run slow, wasnt no point after i missed 2nd..... yes i know 2.1 60" is not good.... but it was for me concidering the other 60" times i had.... Hey Jeff, remember my buddy with the speed 3..?? He was talking alot of crap because he beat me blah blah blah.... well on our way back from the track he wanted to do the typical ricer roll....lol we'll lets just say after seeing what my car did at the track he was thinking he was gonna rape me..... well his plan didnt work out so well..... i raped him everytime lol. Well talk to you guys later.. maybe next time i can launch the damn car better...

timeforpain, i was the dude who gave ya the wave while you were in the stagin lanes, me and a buddy were standin pretty close to my car, i ended up not runnin, had some trans slippage on the way there, decided to not beat on it and take it in tomorrow instead.

both you and jeff had some nice runs, and great lookin cars.


btw, you know the guy in the speed3? what's he got done to it?

 

Lol, I went fishing near there today, I could hear some of the cars. I had to work til 5:30 + no wheels for the drags. I will order some rims this week, lol. Im dying to get out there this year now.

 

my cousin was the one with the speed3.... he has a good amount of mods done.. lets see exhaust manifold, new reworked turbo running 19-22psi, i think a new downpipe, mazdaspeed cai, forge bov, new wastegate actuator.... mbc, a wot box setup for a 2 step....i think theres more but im not sure what else.... fastest he has run was a 12.8.

 

Sup man, sucks that you couldnt run your car... well hopefully you get the problem resolved and you can run next time. I tell you it was a beautiful day to race..... untill it started getting real humid. I wasnt to happy with my times but i went for fun, so to be it would have been cool to hit 12's and i know the car can do it, just the weather was to humid and i couldnt launch the car for the life of me today lol. Well next time i'll know better.
