Winter tires...
I've been looking at rims now for 'summer' time (global warming keeps changing the months of summer[sm=smiley17.gif]) and decided to get some. For winter though, I wanted winter tires on another set of rims. I was thinking about getting some on the stockers, but there is several problems with that.
First, the All seasons on them now are like brand new. I don't want to just throw them away. Second, I won't be able to take them with me to college (no room in car...). I was thinking about shipping them to myself, but then I still loose the tires on them now.
So another idea came to mind:buy a real crap cheap set of rims with no tires or winter tires.
So now I need suggestions on where to get cheap(VERY CHEAP) rims, and what winter tires to mount on them? Size doesn't matter about these rims- cheaper the better. And then I need to get some kick *** winter tires to handle the winters of WNY.
Suggestions?
Please and thank you!
