Default Drag Radials

I just ordered Mickey Thompson ET streets for my 2000 GT. I'm concerned now that they may not fit. I have 18x10in rims, I had 285/35/18's and ordered 305/45/18's I'm concerned about they height. Does anyone else run these. My car is still stock height.I wanted to fill to fender well a little more and wasn't aware at the time they were 28" tall. Thanks.

That is a lot of tire for your car, but you just may be OK for 1/4 mile. I would not think so if you were to DD and articulate the rear axle alot. You need to look at the overall diameter of tire to get an idea of fit (this is the third issue today of this type, so check the other two I have already addressed).
