Default Tire size question?

I have a 2006 GT that I want to put 20x9 Shelby Razors on, my question is, "What size side wall will be better? a 35 or a 40?". I intend on lowering the car with a Eibach pro kit so keep that in mind when answering. I do not intend to use this car for racing, just cruzing and shows.

Thanks in advance!

This is a subjective question, but the 35 series will offer more clearance, firmer ride, more responsive cornering and cost a little more than the 40 series. Either will fit as Saleen runs a 275/40 out back on a 20' rim.

Thanks man, I think I will go with the 35's since I'm going to lower it. After I get the wheels, tires & springs done it will be time for the GT500 front end, custom hood, new spoiler, scoops, and custom interior.
