Default Stripped lock

So about a month ago I sprayed the threading of my left rear wheel with wd-40 because a squeaking noise would occur from that general area while i drove slowly with the windows down. Being the dumbass that is myself I didn't account for the reduced amount of torque that would be necessary to tighten the lug nuts back on. Now I almost can't get the locking nut off, what should I do?

Sounds like you torqued the lugs AFTER you applied the WD-40, so it is now super-tight? I don't have any solutions other than to just keep trying. If you get into real trouble, you can take your car to a tire/wheel shoppe to remove them for you.

Justlike the mafia...... 'they have ways of making you torque' [8D]

Good luck, Jazzer
