Saleen runs 275/35/20"s up front and 275/40/20"s out back on their 9"s & 10"s.

A 275 is quite a bit of tire for a 9" wheel, but will fit. Most will recommend 265's and 285's for the 10"s, and what I would recommend.

well would this be the same for a 19" wheel? and also when you say 275 is quite a bit of tire for a 9" wheel, would 265 be good.. and then 285 rear?

Sure

You can run a 275 on a 9" wheel by most tire makers, but a 265 is a better fit in my, as well as many others, opinions. The 265 will run about 3/8" narrower and will be more responsive in corners and little firmer ride. A 285 is a good fit for a 10" wheel and would be comparable to the 265 on the 9" wheel in terms of ride and response. Keep in mind, 26mm = 1", so this will help you figure out approx. how wide a tire will be on a given wheel.

Running these on 19" wheels will just give you 1/2" more clearance around fender and tire as well as drop the car 1/2" lower then the 20" wheels. This assumes both the first and second numbers are the same on both sets of tires.

I am not a big fan of 20" wheels on a Stang and really prefer 18"s. 19"s are going to be a good fit. You will likely need to use a tuner to correct speedometer inaccuracy when done. You will loose/gain approx. 5 MPH at 70 MPH as per my own experience with this issue.

thanks for the info.. i currently have 18" polished aluminum bullits from ford on my car.. i plan on getting the saleen body kit for my car and idk if those would go with the kit.. the 19" wheels i'm asking about are the saleen heritage chrome wheels which would probably look better than the bullits

Looks is certainly objective, but I feel as others have mentioned that Bullits are not the best look for the Saleen. With that said, it is YOUR car.

If you put the kit on and decide it looks great........
