Default Back Spacing Help

I am planning on buy some new wheels for my 85 coupe. I just converted to 5 lug. I want to run a 17x8 on the front and a 17x9 on the rear. Any help with back spacing for the two would be great

I am not familiar enough to help in this case, but could if I was to know how much the off-set "changed" with the conversion.

Thanx for the response. The offset nreally shouldn't have changed at all.

If the off-set has not changed, and seems to me it usually does on this mod, head over to American Muscle and look at the off-set of the wheels that fit your year.

You can then check the section that has your bolt pattern and run the off-set for your year. A 9" wheel will fit all the way around, but is pretty close. You may need to remove your rear quad-shocks, but am not sure.

EDIT: VERY UNUSUAL TO DO A 5 LUG CONVERSION AND NOT CHANGE THE OFF-SET, SO CONFIRM THIS!!!

Just asking but why would the offset change? I have the same spindles and am using 83 Ranger 10" rotors which measure up almost exact as the stock 4 lug rotors. The rear is just two driverside Ranger axles. Really nothing should of changed.

I have a guy offering to sell me two brand new 17x8 Ford Racing Bullitts. I think they are around 5.5 backspacing. What do you think about those for the front of my coupe?
