Default New wheels...

I'm looking to swap my rims out for something a bit nicer. I like the stock rims below, in my opinion, they looks the best on a red GT such as mine. I'd like a nice aggressive stance/look though. What are some size options for me? Pictures would be awesome. Thanks guys!!

Typically, a set of 9"s & 10"s (or 10.5"s) are the choice for a more aggressive stance. For tires, a 265 for 9"s, 295~305's for 10"s and up to a 315 for 10.5"s

Take a look in the customer rides thread and will see some options. Also take a look at customer rides in websites that have wheels you like.

I did a little bit of research and it sounds like I'd be best off going 18x10" in the back with 18x9" in the front. Now tire size is the question. I was thinking 285/35 for the rear and 275/40 for the front??

I'm pretty sure a 275/40 is a taller tire than a 285/35. The front tires being taller would be a weird stance.

I'm running 255/40 and 285/40 on 18x9 and 18x10 saleens, the back tires are only half an inch taller than the stock 245/45R17 and the front tires are only half an inch smaller. I think it looks sharp.

In retrospect, I wish I bought either 255/35r18 and 285/35r18, or 265/35r18 and 295/35r18.

Gotta go to work but there are some pics in my galleries.

I always liked those GT4 rims you have there, if only some one offered those in Black Chrome.

If i am right, and correct me if i am wrong, Just remember if you by 18x9's for the front and 18x10's for the back you cant rotate your tires without it looking funny so you will probaly go through tires faster.
