Default Drag Radial, wheel size questions

I recently purchased a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets in 28x12.5/15 size. Probably a little big, but they have around 80 percent life left and I paid 100 for both.

I know I should get 15x10 wheels, and I have looked at the Summit Racing ones in 6.5bs for $135 each.

My question is, another gentelmen in this area has a set of 15x10 Outlaw rims in my bolt pattern, but they have a 7.5 backspacing. I can get these for $100.

Anyone know if they will fit with my tires and on the car? I am tempted to just buy them to find out, but I dont want to be stuck with something I cant resell or am going to loose money on.

I am not a drag guy, but I do wear a dress once in a while

7.5" back-space is gonna be too far to fit on your ride. 6.5" is the norm on 10" wheels. Can push it to 7" if you break out two turn-tables, a microphone and a little MC Hammer and Sister Sledge for clearance. You may consider spacers, but will run the cost back up to the Outlaw ones and not a fan of the spacer needed to install them.

My vote is to go for the Summit ones or keep looking.
