New To forums, need help on wheel size/offset for a 2011 mustang
Hey guys, im new to these forums and thought here would be as good place as anywhere else to ask. So i have the 2011 base model v6 mustang with 17x7 wheels that have an off set of 40mm and i am wanting to buy these wheels
http://www.blueovalindustries.com/ad...ls/wh1480.html
they are 17x8 with an offset of 45mm.
I have a set of 225/60/17 BFGoodrich Radial T/A Tires with 3000 miles on em so i want to use these.so my question is will my tires work with these wheels with out pooching out badly, stick out too far, and do you think they would rub the fender-well any?
Thanks

Welcome to MF's
Those wheels will fit your ride just fine, as the ad says, but will only be a smidge over 1/4" or so farther out than your existing wheels.
*let's do some math, eh?*
They are 1" wider, so if they were also a +40mm off-set, they would stick out 1/2" more than current (50% of width either side of center). Since the off-set is +45mm, then the wheel is moved inward an additional 5mm (approx. 3/16" or so)
