Which wheel locks?
I just added some new 18" chrome saleen replica's from American Muscle to my 2007 and I would like to add wheel locks. I heard Gorilla and McGuard are good brands. Each brand has tons of different model numbers. Which ones did you guys buy? I'd like the key to fit the factory lug nut wrench.
So far I found these:
McGard 24130
Gorilla Automotive 71681N
Thanks,
Mark

UNQUESTIONABLY.... Gorilla
I have been running them for well over 20 years and are spectacular. I would ask that you do not bother with only a set of 4 for the following reasons....
1. If I get your car up in the air and remove 4 lugs with a standard wrench, I can "yank" that wheel hard and break the last lug-bolt off and away I go with your wheels AND tires
2. For about $50 or so, you can get a set of 24 (yes, I said 24) and have some extras in the event they get lost on the side of that dark side street in which you find yourself needing to change a flat.
3. Your wheels will look better with the exact same lugs all around each hole.

Thanks Jazzer. Do you think the locks with external or internal splines are better? I saw these on American Muscle with internal splines.

I have no experience with that brand, only Gorillas.
The issue I have with an inside key, would be the probably easier to find something to put something into them to get them removed. Say, a bolt head and grab the treads with a pair of Channellocks or a large allen key. The Gorillas can probably be removed by pounding a socket, but is not only a noisy affair, but probably more difficult due to the limited space between the lug and the hole of the wheel itself.
Jazzer votes Gorilla, homie

I just did some research and your right, they are Gorilla
Although, Gorilla says "nobody currently sells them"... hmmmm? Anyway, upon closer inspection, they are indeed just a hex design (similar to the "tuner" lugs) and bet dollars to donuts, I could quickly find an allen wrench or bolt head that would fit it perfectly to allow their removal
Be sure to get a properly sized lug-wrench that fits the socket to install/remove them. Also be sure to purchase an extra wrench (about $15 or so) and keep it in a safe place for back-up.
