Default 1993 ford mustang gt wheels HELP!!!

i have a 93 ford mustang gt with the front five lug converted, i also have the back axles and drums, , im looking for wheels but im having some issues, what wheels will fit? i called american muscle about the fr500s, but they said 17x9 will fit but thats the biggest? i saw a pic of a 93 mustang gt with those size wheels and they seemed kinda small and not size proportionate, i think 18x9 would look better? does anyone know if 18s would fit? without rolling the fenders!!!!!! also what bullitt wheels would fit? i see alot of 05 09 mustang gt wheels for sale on craigslist that i like, im not looking to beat up the car to get the wheels to fit,

Hey,

Depending on the wheel you go with and certainly with minor modifications you can get a larger wheel. We only advertise the 17x9 wheel as the largest, because this is largest size you can get away with without doing any modifications.

For starters removing or even flipping the quad shocks should give quite a bit of room to play with and will most likely be required for anything larger than a 17 x9. An 18x 8 or 9 will most likely work, but each car is a little different and may require a spacer or can only be lowered minimally.

I hope this helps!

I recommend 17x9 in front and 17/10 in the rear! If you go with a 275 or bigger tire in the rear you will have to roll fenders! I know from experience! same with 18s! Your fronts mite rub with the 18x9 on a 245 tire tho!
