What Cars Would the Characters of ‘Star Wars’ Drive?

With the premier of Star Wars: The Force Awakens just barely two months away, everyone and their mother is getting in on the action. And that includes our good friends over at CJ Pony Parts. In the company’s latest video, shown below, they ask the most pertinent question on the face of the planet. What would the characters of Star Wars drive?

Besides the obvious answer, a spaceship, the crew of the Starship Pony delves into each characters’ personality and tries to come up with a good match of what each would actually drive if they were in our time, and not in a galaxy far, far away. And our favorite car gets star billing.

In the character roster, Han Solo drives a beat up 1967 Mustang! Here’s why:

“Classic old school muscle. Rugged and not afraid to get dirty. ‘She may not look like much, but she’s got it where it counts, kid.”

The video delves into pretty much every big character, including Chewbacca, who gets a monster truck, C-3P0, who pimps the gold Smart car, and Jar Jar Binks, who rolls heavy in a purple PT Cruiser with flames on the hood.
