You don’t earn a title like “World’s Quickest Terminator” without holding some serious weight in the game of racing.

That’s exactly why this 2003 Cobra should wear the crown proudly. Yet the owner, Frank Yee, remains rather modest about the car’s capabilities.

Developed by VooDoo Racing Innovations, this beautiful Mustang has racked up quite a track record when it comes to balls-out speed, as highlighted in a Mustang360.com report.

Yee says that back in 2008 the car became the first Terminator to break into the 9s with a stock blower, running 9.83 at 137 mph. Of course, this was after several years of running the car on the streets of Las Vegas, before going the more legal route.

Yee’s best pass to date in his Terminator, which has several different mods, is 8.1 at 175 mph. A feat he accomplished at the 2014 NMRA World Finals. That pretty much solidified the car’s title as the “World’s Quickest Terminator.”

Not a bad payoff for Yee, who apparently sold practically everything he owned to buy the car back in 2004. The story of Yee and his Terminator is definitely worth the full read here at Mustang360.com.
