Steeda Wants to Improve Your Street Cred

Camp Steeda aims to improve your street cred, and make you a faster driver. Their driving education program is not at all like the one you took in high school to get your license. Rather, this one takes place at Sebring International Raceway the weekend of May 27, and includes two days of coaching, instruction, and open track for your ‘Stang.

An event like this will let you test out all of the modifications you’ve made to your car in a safe environment, so you can really feel any suspension, brake, or tire upgrades in a way that you’d never get away with on the street. It’ll also let you test smaller upgrades you may have done, such as that pesky clutch spring you may have removed because it was inconsistent right at the clutch bite point. It’s worth pointing out that Steeda makes a clutch spring that’s much better than the factory one.

As far as the track day, and getting your skill level up, info and registration can be found for the eventĀ here. And if you’re interested in improving that clutch spring, Steeda offers the fix for that here.
