I've never used it myself but from what I understand you can spray it over chrome without prepping and if you don't like it... just peel it off.

Plasti-dip is king! I did side & rear emblems, and the grille. No prep, 3-4 coats. New grille coming soon, but it was a temporary "fix". They're 8 months strong.

How do you take off the GT badges on the side of an '05? Do you just yank them off or is there a trick?

I used this stuff to blackout my buddies mustang as well as my emblems on my car and it looks and has held up great. I love having the option to go back to stock if I ever decide to.
