Stage 3 is great.
as far as being carbonfiber, who cares, the supersnake hood is almost always painted body color. I don't personally care for carbon fiber body panels left unpainted, they look like they belong on a honda civic.
Of course if you really want a genuine shelby supersnake hood you could check ebay and ask to see pictures of where it is identified as a genuine shelby part.

Never seen carbon fiber on a civic. Just a lot of spray can paint jobs. Though I think it's more a modern Euro taste. I don't think bare carbon fiber looks all that bad on a mustang with the proper application. Don't flame me.

Must be a regional thing, here in CA it's the Japanese rice burners that have all sorts of CF with their folgers can exhaust tips.

But hey, it's personal taste and your car, that's what is great about mustangs, so many aftermarket parts, you can make it yours and very nearly guarantee that no one else has quite the same combo.

smart...if I produced a limited number of a model car (KR, GT500, GTCS) I'd HATE for everyone to put hoods, bumper covers, ect on a standard gt...it totally takes away from what is trying to be achieved, semi unique-ness (only limited by the number of units produced)...Ford has F'ed this up totally, but shelby is doing ok...Doesn't shelby require a trade for KR hoods, meaning you have to ship your damaged one to them to receive a new one? genius...

OP, you're most likely best route is ebay for genuine shelby...people who have KRs that replaced their hoods with aftermarket hoods will sometimes sell them there...

I have ordered from them, the Super Snake GTS-4 hood and Cervini Ducktail spoiler among other things. The hood shipped fast and seems to be in good quality, but the paint shop has not started prep until today so I haven't heard any feedback on quality. It's all just basic raw plastic, no gel coat on the bottom, so it looks pretty flimsy from Trufiber, and the Cervini part (like every Cervini part ever) is on 'back order.'

I like Stage 3 and American Muscle.
