You could get a 3-gauge pod, cut the face off of it, and make your own out of aluminum or ABS.

thats what I was thinking.
A new face plate with 2 holes instead of three...
Brushed aluminum or engine turned would be trick and different.
The area in between the center AC vents is clear for hole cutting
and gauge installation... No 'pod' needed...

I'm just going to go with the roush vent pods, will be the cheaper and less technically inclined choice.

But now you have to find a way to get the wires/capilary tubes
out of the duct leading to the vent face and out to the motor...

Roush vent pods work great. I started with a double A pillar gauge, then added the third gauge in a roush pod. I would say go that route.
