Just bought 18x9.5 GT500 Replica's
Hey guys, just bought a set of 18x9.5 Gt500 replicas for my black GT. They are 9.5's all around. Can you guys give me some suggestions as to good tire brands, and size.
I'm looking at 275/40 for the front, and 285/40 or 295/40 for the rears.
What do you guys think?

RE: Just bought 18x9.5 GT500 Replica's
I have Saleen Replica's. Just to give you a heads up. These rims aint exactly top of line. My car wobbles like ****. I'm having my factory 18" bullitts powder coated black (I just gotta have black rims) to rectify the situation. I hope you have better luck with your rims.

Can you guys post pics... I was thinking to go with 275's in the front but if I like the way it looks and I dont have to go that wide, I'd rather save some $.
Thanks

Tire recco and seniorsmith's Wheel Wobble
I bought the Goodyear F1s from Tire Rack same size as GT 500. The price is really low for ultra hi perf summer tires because of the relatively high volume!
I terms of wheel wobble, all fords come down the assembly line with a "lock washer" to hold the calipers on. Most aftermarket wheels do not accommodate the space for this washer, all Ford wheels are machined to allow for the washer, The solution is to pry off the washers bolt on the wheels and your car/truck will ride down the road smooth as a hot rod lincoln.
Found out the hard way on my Escape.
