You are correct, I have the Shaker 500 so no trunk subs, and the clubs fit in with no problem

I don't know of any year Mustang that had folding rear seats. There is a compartment between the rear seat area and the trunk. Assuming the top was up and the space wasn't occupied by the roof, even if there were folding seats and a trap door in the trunk that compartment would be very dirty, wouldn't it?
Well, you're not golfing in the rain, so just take down the roof and plop the clubs in the back seat and have fun!

I don't see why ford couldn't, I had an 01 camaro convertible that the rear seat folded down, if cheby could do it don't see why ford couldn't.

I'm surprised your 2001 Camaro convertible had a folding seat.

My 1999 Trans Am convertible - same body as your 2001 because they didn't change - didn't have a folding seat for the same reason my Mustang doesn't. That is where the hydraulics and lift system is located.

Got any pictures of the folding seat on your '01?

I put my clubs in trunk but have to remove driver before they'll fit.
