I will definately be putting an after market radio whenever I get my mustang GT. Is it worth it to get the Premium if you are going to ripp out the speakers and radio?
Are you better off getting the deluxe and adding leather as an option?

It depends...
If your car comes with the shaker 500 or the 1000 or a stock radio?? The cars that come with the Shaker comes with 6 speakers the stock radio comes with 4.
I replaced all of my speakers and radio and then added sub and amp. I only have 4 speakers. The radio sounds great I do not think the additional 2 speakers make a difference unless..... you are putting subs in the door.....
Be very carefull. I would sugest you pick your after market radio out then decide.

I have a deluxe with added leather. I replaced the stock radio with a Pioneer DEH-P8600MP and added a 10 inch sub and amp in the trunk. The stock door and rear deck speakers sound fine to me and I don't plan to replace them. I didn't plan on getting the deluxe, but in restrospect is was a good move considering all the reported problems with the Shakers.
