Tight, but not WATERtight.
And there are two of them on each side.
Plural.

Anybody have directions on removing the inner door panel? May pop it off if it isnt too much of a hassle and see whats going on. Dont know why the water would be coming out the bottom of the panel instead of draining to the bottom of the door and out the drains.

I had to remove mine when I first bought the car. There are two on each door.
Yea, thats why Ford put them there. For owners to remove.
Shipping plugs the dealer forgot to remove?
And if they dont get the idea from a forum, then the bottoms
of their doors will rust out prematurally. Thats what Ford had in mind.
Boobytrap the doors for rust unless you read GT Johns post about removing them.
Build an expensive mold to mold plastic clips for the bottom of the doors for the drain
holes just to have the end user remove them and throw them away. What a landfill filler.

In all fairness, they are there for a reason and if they only need
to be cleaned out occasionally and replaced, so be it.
But to remove them alltogether and throw them away, thats kinda
going overboard with the advice...

"This operation is not allowed" is all that happens when I try to open it. I think I have read others mentioning this as well. It doesnt let me save it locally either. Help?

Sorry, ??upgrade to XP or get off the library computer??
Maybe open the firewall and let the info in?

Or go buy the latest issue of MM&FF or one of the S197 mags
for a complete brakebown and color pics of removing the door panel.
Maybe find this info online at MM&FF?

Let me try and paraphrase it.

1. Remove the sail panel.
If equipped, disconnect the exterior mirror control switch.
2. Remove the interior door handle cover and the door trim bolt.
3. Remove the window switch housing and disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the door trim panel center screw.
5. Remove the door trim panel handle cover and door trim panel bolt.
6. Remove the 8 outer door trim panel screws and the door trim panel.
Disconnect the interior door handle actuating cable.
(It connects like bycycle brake cables of yesteryear)
If equipped, disconnect the subwoofer electrical connector.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Maybe one of your settings is blocking it. I have XP with no firewall, and the site comes up okay from the link. Try the time-honored practice of rebooting your computer. Perhaps a computer guru will appear with more sophisticated ideas.

I don't know how your system is configured. I also use Mozilla Firefox. You could try this.

Open Adobe Reader.

Click Edit on the toolbar.
Click Preferences.
Click Internet.
See that there is NO check in the box for Display PDF in browser.

Click Document on the toolbar.
Click Accessibility Setup Assistant.
See that there is NO check in the box for Display PDF documents in the web browser (on my computer this is on page 5).

I hope this works for you.
