Yeah...think I'm gonna end up goin with a thumbdrive.

Still would like to know why even when sync does recognize my sansa, it will not recognize the external sd card that's in it.

When you call a number that has a automated response and gives you a list of options: dial 1 for this and 2 for that how do you make your selection during the call?

If you have nav, you can press the number on the screen. If not, just press it on your phone.

Two quick questions:

1) How do I get that STUPID 911 message to go away each time I get into my car? Yes, I know you can turn off the voice prompt but it still mutes my stereo for about 5 seconds after I start driving. Incredibly annoying.

2) Has anyone tried a larger storage device (say, portable USB drive) with the car? If you have more than 16 gigs worth of music on a device, does Sync just take forever to index it each time you turn on the car?

3) Each time you get back into your car, does your SYNC only remember the song that it is currently playing? In other words, if you were on track 4 of 10 of an album, and you press Next Song, does it simply restart track 4? Mine behaves this way.
