Bolt-on 5.0 runs 12.04....traps 117
Interesting

"The results speak for themselves - Not only did they bump the dyno numbers jump up to 405 horsepower to the wheels, but they thundered this 2011 Mustang down the quarter mile in 12.04 seconds, hitting the traps at 117 MPH. Also, a tenth was shaved off their 60 foot time. Evolution is positive it'll go 11's without any more mods to the car, but they realized after about a dozen track runs, dyno time, street fun and such, they've gotten all they can out of the stock clutch for now. Not too much of a disappointment, after all, it's an excuse for more modifications now, right? Stay tuned to see what else Evolution Performance has in store for this 5.0."

I thought it was odd when I couldn't find a post on this.. just wasn't looking hard enough.

The other thread was started before they went to the track with the bolt-ons. That said I never claimed to be an author.
Im sure my attempts at writing cause physical pain to anyone in the proffession.

What's funny is in the article they state they got 42 rwhp with just bolt ons and Gene started his thread with they made 36 rwhp with simple bolt ons.
But then you see they went from 368 to 405 which = 37
Funniness aside, seems the new 5.0 does better than the engineers said it would with just minor bolt ons.
What's also very strange to me, is why the hell did Evolution Performance put big heavy, drag inducing Mickey Streets on the FRONT tires of their car. LOL
They do know it's a RWD only car right?
Just a hint for yeah Evolution performance. You want light weight, skinny tires on the front to cut down on air drag and rolling resistance to get the best ET's and trap speeds.
Stick to the stock wheels/tires up front or go lighter weight, low rolling resistant and slightly skinnier wheels/tires for drag days.
