Default ARH Headers and X Pipe are installed...

After about 16 total hours this weekend the headers and X pipe are installed and the car sounds awesome! For those of you considering putting headers on your 2011 gt...it's not a job for the faint of heart (hopefully your wife has small hands and is willing to help, like mine)! The ARH system is top notch, perfect fitment.

Now I just need this Minnesota winter to let up so I can get it out on the road!

I don't care who tells you what, if you are the average guy, working in your garage, on the floor with Jack stands, anyone would have a tough time with that job.

You had to lift the engine, remove the motor mounts, starter, steering knuckle, and then deal with the passenger side which was a complete nightmare. I used every tool in my garage, 1/4, 3/8/ 1/2 drives, extensions, knuckles, ratcheting wrenches, etc...

Now that I know exactly what I'm doing I might be able to trim a couple hours off of it but I wanted to make sure I didn't damage anything during the process. Oh, by the way, I hope your helper is 5'2" tall with super small hands to start the 3 bolts on the passenger side that are almost humanly impossible to get to.

It was fun though and It's going to run like a raped ape!

I couldn't agree more about the help. I made a video and am in the process of getting it off of the camera.
