Rubber Door Grip
#21
Oh man one of my pet peeves. Everyone that rides passenger slams the door using the window and gets it all smudged up. Why would you grab a piece of glass that's obviously less strong and more prone to break than the metal door (most chances it won't but still)

My wife's the worst at this...I cringe everytime she gets out and closes the door like that. For some reason, she feels it necessary to slam it shut by pushing on the top corner of glass...guess thats why we drive her car most of the time.

Lower the window before she gets out, and raise it after she has closed the door.

It seems like every time somebody shuts my door, they do it by pushing on the window. That just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.
I was wondering how you all think it would look if I put a piece of rubber on the edge of a door as a grip, to emphasize NOT shutting it by the window
Thanks

like a TAXI or something to need a 'little rubber piece" on the door.
If your passengers are not smart enough to properly close a
window frame-less car door what makes you think that they
are smart enough to use your added "little rubber piece".
I would think selectivity of your passengers and a short
discussion of the proper etiquette for properly closing a
window frame-less car door might work and look better
than a "little rubber piece" on the edge of your passengers
side door.
Now to get those ring wearing hookers to not scratch up
the inside on the door handles on the outside when they get in...
Check yours, Bet they are all a scratched up from hauling the
window glass using door closers. Long nails and rings kill paint.
Weld the door shut dukes style and have em climb in thru the window.
Two problems solved with one welder...
Now how to keep their high heels off my dashboard?
And no, 2010 faux gas filler emblems work only on 2010 stangs, not 05-09 stangs.
