Anyone trailer their S197? Advice please...

Wheel straps are the best bet. You can drill holes in the floor of the trailer where you need something to tie to and use heavy duty eye bolts(ones with shaft of 3/4-1") with a fender washer and nut on the bottom that way you can remove them easily while loading/unloading(so you're not driving over them). We did this for my neighbors car. Not very practical if you're towing more than 1 type of vehicle with it but he only used it to tow his third gen firebird to the track and back.

Use axle straps in the back, two 2" wide ratchet straps. Axle straps lay over the top of the axle and are either made with a D ring on each end or a type that wraps around the axle and has a loop to connect a ratchet strap to.
I would use a chain in the front through the front two hooks.
I have towed my car here and there since I have had it and never had an issue doing it this way. This includes curvy mountainous roads, LA traffic, 1000 mile trips, etc.

I've got it figured out. I'll be running axle straps around the rear axle and through the front wheels. To that, I'll have 10,000 lb breaking strength (3,333 lb working load) ratchet straps connected to recessed 6,000 lb capacity D-rings at each corner of the trailer (bolted and welded to the trailer frame). I will cross the straps in the rear and run them straight forward in the front. Here's the car on the trailer while I was marking for balance and D-ring locations:
