Default long tube headers 2010 GT need help

I want to put on a set of BBK LT headers.
BBk is just what I want to go with, no reason.
What I do need help on is how the install goes. How hard or easy will it be. I have all the tools I will need, and I have the know how, I just havent seen (or looked hard enough) anyone do it and say much about how it went.

In addition to headers I will eventually put on the ford racing intake (any other suggestions to get a strut bar in would help)
I also am going to go with ford racing thumper cams, and steeda cold air intake, along w/ SCT x3 tuner. FOOSE 20x8.5 front and 20x10 back & 3" hood.

Other items I cant decide on but would like to go in are:
throttle body (whats the best MM to get)
fuel injectors
halos/HID's
lowering kit
tires (low pro)
drive shaft & clutch (if needed)

This GT is stock with out mufflers. Nothing wrong ...yet. lol.
I dont plan on dragging it officially, i drive to work in it every day and fly down any deserted area as fast as I can on weekends. so i am not seeking 800hp lol, but a mild 425-450 range. Thanks for any and all help I can get.

Well I have to tell you now, until you go FI and put a blower of some sort on there, I don't think you're going to get 400+whp out of the 4.6, even with every bolt on in the book.

I haven't done the mods, but speaking from what other's have posted on here, it looks like the 4.6 tends to top out with every N/A mod in the book, at about 360rwhp.

The best you'll get out of the 4.6L without internal engine mods beyond cams will be about 350 RWHP. For 425-450 RWHP you need to go FI.

As far as your current plans, you'll need a tune to begin with just for the LTs and then modified tunes for most of the other mods. You might as well doe the CAI & custom tune from Bama now and then put their "free tunes for life" to good use.

Yupp as they said you need FI to get into the 400rwhp range with the 4.6. I had a m90 blower, 2.55 pulley, longtubes, and made 407 rwhp with my 2010 auto. Most Ive seen out of a 4.6 was 350rwhp and that was with cams, heads, ford racing manifold, aluminum drive shaft and basically every bolt on possible.

Nice list you have going there. As the others have said if your stuck on the 400 plus HP range, just bolt on a supercharger, you wont get there N/A. Supercharger would be cheaper too. If spending $5k up front is too much now then get a CAI and tune from AM or brenspeed, it will really wake up the car. I dont know much about BBK headers but you want to make sure the brand you buy fits properly. The LT install is a long one. Took me with friends helping all weekend to do it. Its not hard just a ****load of nuts and bolts in very tight places. Best write up I have seen for it is by Timmbo. You only need a normal set of tools but the one tool you must have is a 13mm flex head racheting box wrench. Its about $15 and is a life saver with those manifold bolts. 13mm is the magic number for cars. Want to remove your mufflers, thats the tool.

Forget the TB. Waste of money, does nothing. Do a bunch of research before you buy anything it will save you money in the long run.

Sorry fellas, been working alot. And ok, I like what I hear. One more thing to ask would be, should I supercharge it and leave most parts stock, or just change out all the parts I listed aswell. The main thing I want to stay away from is replacing too much internal parts, cams I can deal with, but im not looking to get new piston/rods/rockers/ the whole shabang, I dont want to overpower it to where Ive changed the whole engine.

So in another words: Supercharger or all the other upgrades?

Basically you just need a Supercharger to achieve your your goal. And for other mods, it all depends on what you like to do but not necessary. Do some research on thos FI kits, call before order..
