4 Jack Stands at Once
#11
All good advice. I jack the front from the k member and place jack stands on the frame rails. Jack the rear via the pumpkin and place stands on axles. I also put ramps under the wheels for security. I always shake the car from various angles to make sure the stands are stable.

Also always keep a phone within reaching distance.
Edit, actually just realized. I put the ramps under whatever wheels I'm working closer towards. Feel safer that way.

I did the 4 jack stands at once, its not bad at all. Just make sure you have the 100% level ground. If you have ramps as well put the ramps under the wheels as well. Esp if you live in earthquake prone area's. You can never be to safe!

I actually made these ramps to be able to get the car up without a jack or stands. I also made some block wood stands for the rears. I just jack the pumpkin and slide them under the wheels. They are built from 4 pieces of 2x12 wood 20`long all hammered together. Nothing feels safer than having solid wood between the tires and the floor.

^Nicely done. I bought some thick plastic ramps that I love that i use under the front wheels but i have to jack my car up to put them under because the front is to low so the bumper pushes them away when i try driving onto them lol
But it's a nice feeling having something solid under the wheels with the jacks
