Default 2012 5.0 OEM lower shifter box

Okay, so i was installing my new short throw shifter the other day when i went to tighten the last bolt and the head broke off leaving the bolt stuck in the shifter base -_- I didn't want to go and have to buy a new one from the stealership so i was wondering if any of you guys had gotten the MGW shifters and still have the OEM lower shifter base and would like to sell it.

My MGW isn't going in until June 2nd, so prob too long for you to wait =(
i would say just buy the MGW as it's the best (and most complete) shifter on the market for the M82 tranny, but since they hand make every one of them, you're looking at the least, a 6 week wait time.

you might be able to tap & pilot-hole the bolt and walk it out that way, then just get a new bolt

wow sorry to hear that sometime with the head missing there is no tightness on the bolt shaft if you can grab it with pliers or even fingers you may be able to spin the bolt out!

yea i tried to look at it and see if i could grab it with pliers but it broke off so smooth you couldn't grab it. i tried to left hand drill it but since the shifter base is steel and those bolts are pretty much aluminum almost it just chewed it up. tomorrow i am gonna try to disassemble the shifter box from the selector arm and just drill through the hole with a 1/4 inch and re tap it. if that doesn't work tousley ford parts has the whole assembly for sale for 200. if you decide you want to sell it steel pony let me know, patience is a pretty good virtue of mine, just name a price.
