Haha def radials, tho my best 60' was 1.88 on my street tires. The drag radials I use are the good ol mickey thompson ET street radials 275/60r15. Launching at 4500-5000. I wanna see if I can get that 60' into the 1.6 area. I ordered the new shifter today. Woooo!!!!

MGW? Like I said there are good shifters out there but NOTHING compares to the MGW.

Yep the MGW. I think it was the term "butter" that got me. Being a fat kid, i love butter and i think my car will as well................. now the waiting begins haha.

rule of thumb is 100 lbs = ~.1 in the 1/4 thats alot of weight though, did you remove you spare tire before the previous times?

If your shifting is bad, you do not have a MGW that's for sure.
And are you even certain it is a short throw shifter? If you don't like the shifting you might as well replace it with the MGW. It's not an expensive mod by any means and you don't want to not enjoy running at the track because your shifts suck butt. Just replace that sucker with the MGW and make your track runs fun.

thanks for the info, ill def check this out, but you know, it might be the driver the probleme:P ill try get the name of what im using atm, see if it really worth anything if not, ill order the brand ur talking about with no hesitation. I dont have any probleme shifting semi-aggressiv out of track, gotta say I was hella nervous too..

Im workin on gettin that part down haha. yah I took the spare out and the shaker 1000 sub haha i figure any weight lost is good. I cant wait for my new shifter, has it been three weeks yet??!!!
