Hello,

Recently purchased an alarm system for 2013 Mustang and need some suggestions as to where to mount the red LED alarm light inside the vehicle. Any thoughts from those who have installed aftermarket alarm in 2012/2013?

Right behind the shifter in the center console. Anyone looking in should be able to see it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Any other suggestions where to mount. I'm thinking that a red led right on top of the console might not look that great...or maybe I'm wrong?

Depending on the size of the LED (like a small button size, <5mm), I would think on top the door panel right next to the lock indicator by the window... That way it's visible from a distance without having to actually walk up to the car.

I would have said up on the dash but that would be a PITA to get to. Only reason I didn't suggest by the door lock is visibility from both side. So long as the light is small and put in carefully, it shouldn't be noticable in the center console.
