So the switches for the wire extensions seam to be the problem, one day they work, hit a bump the next day they don't, I have taped them so many times I forget.
So here is my question. Has any body tried to just add wire to the existing connectors and not use the extensions? If so any problems? i wouldn't think i should have any issues just wanting some input.
Are they pulled real tight in order to reach? If so, I would add wire to the extensions to make them longer. You probably only need a couple of inches more than you currently have.

You can trim the plastic as I did, but it still kept cutting in/out..... I kept blowing bulbs. I ended up cutting the OE harness and straight wiring it. That's your best solution.

that's where I was going with it. PIA every time to have to untape and re-tape.
Thanks everybody, just wanted to hear it from someone else that hard wiring was a good solution. It will also eliminate all of the extra wire hanging down. i'll try to post up some pics of the fix.
