GT Grille on a V6

GT Grille on a V6
My buddy has a 08 mustang gt and he just tossed his stock gt grille. We are wondering if his stock grille will fit on my girlfriends 09 mustang v6 pony package. Will this involve modification or should it fit?

The GT bumper and v6 bumper are different, the mounting points don't all align up, with some modification it would fit, but I believe there would be a slight bulge in the center of the grille because of the fitment.

The shape and size of the GT and V6 grill is different - so it will have gaps and bulges if you put a GT grill on a V6 bumper.
It can be done, but it is not a direct swap, you will need to do your own fabrication to make it fit. But it will still have gaps due to the shape.
That's why if you look for aftermarket grills you see different part numbers for V6 and GT grills. It has nothing to do with the fog lights, it is the shape and size difference (and the Pony fog lights have a different connection from what I understand).
